Hey {{first_name}} ,
Proper case of the Mondays.
Lying there thinking about client numbers. About getting more people through the door. More people into my high-ticket program.
"Why has it taken so long?"
I've been focused hard on this most of the year. Networking. Posting. Making offers. Having conversations.
But it still feels slow.
Then I actually looked at the numbers.
Nearly $100k in revenue. 40 people in my paid community. Multiple high-ticket clients. Real results for those people.
I've been doing this specific LinkedIn focus for 12 months.
12 months.
And I was measuring myself against what? The guru promises. The "do this for 3 months and print money" courses. The $500 programs that sell you instant results.
I know those timelines are bullshit. I've watched people buy 10 courses and overthink themselves into poverty.
But somewhere in my brain, those fake promises infected how I judged my own very real success.
Amazon Prime next-day delivery has convinced us that everything should happen yesterday.
It doesn't.
12 months to build something generating six figures is fast. But my Monday morning brain was convinced I was failing.
If you're doing the right things and feeling behind schedule, check what schedule you're actually measuring against.
Because the timeline that's designed to sell you another course isn't the timeline that builds something real.
If this resonates with you, send me a reply,
Jack
